I think this might be my current favorite dress. It fits like a glove and I love the funky, south western print. I’m 99.9% sure it’s handmade from the 1960′s or 70′s, making it all the more special. I think it will look great in the fall too, with some tights, boots and a cardigan.
Not going to lie, I get a lot of compliments on it when I wear it. Not from Ross however. He hates it. His reaction was, and I quote, “It’s too New Mexico-y.” Right, I guess that’s a problem? I always enjoy hearing his responses to my outfits. If he had his way I would wear nothing but jeans and t-shirts, but I say nay Ross, nay!
These photos were taken at one of the beaches by our house. I think the contrast of the very un-New England print against the quintessentially Maine background is sort of fun. It was a cool, overcast evening which was a nice break from a hot and sunny day. Franklin scampered around on the rocks and got himself thoroughly muddy and tired. Happy puppy.
Speaking of Ross, this is him. I don’t believe he’s had any appearances on the blog yet, except for his tattoo. Erg, that Ross is so darn photogenic. I hate him. I very rarely like a photo of myself, but every single shot of Ross is flattering. Stupid boy. But, he’s cute and relatively nice to me so I keep him around. He also doesn’t read my blog as much as he should, so I can say anything I want on here! Haha – this is my chance to get even. Ok fine, I’ll be nice. He’s mah’ dude.
