Saturday and Sunday were absolutely gorgeous in this part of the country. Temps in the high 50′s and super sunny. We did our best to relish it before (gasp) winter comes.
On Saturday we went to the farmer’s market to pick up some produce for the week. The park was especially lovely that day, despite most of the leaves off the trees. I was almost a little too toasty in this velvet blazer, but I just enjoyed the warmth before I enter my winter hermitage where I am almost always cold. Sigh.
The rest of the day was spent taking walks with Franklin, eating carrot cake cupcakes (yum!) and enjoying a lovely dinner at the newly opened Figa, where I ordered the flavorful and juicy hanger steak.
