This has been such an exciting and busy month for me! Work-wise, wedding-wise, and swap-wise. All good though. In cased you missed it, I’m one of the organizers behind the first ever SWAP maine – a huge clothing swap benefiting Goodwill of Northern New England coming up this Saturday. All of us are beyond excited, and we really think it’s going to exceed our expectations. We’ve seen a ton of interest and have gotten bunches of clothing drop-offs already.
If you’re a local: today is our last day to drop off your bag of clothes, jewelry, and accessories ahead of time to get a free ticket for the swap. Come to Head Games Salon (116 Free Street) from 4:00 – 7:00 and we’ll give you your ticket. Guys are welcome too!
Today we’re featured in the Portland Press Herald GO section! Avery Yale Kamila wrote a fun and informative article: For local fashionistas: On your mark, get set, swap. I’m quoted, and happy to say I don’t sound like a total doofus.
I was also on Fox’s morning show Good Day Maine today. Here’s the interview, my first time ever on TV! Unfortunately they butchered my name and the name of my blog on the caption, but oh well. Oh, and who forgot to mention that I have a lisp? Here’s the link (wordpress won’t let me embed it – ergh).
