We seem to be experiencing a bit of a Native American summer right now. What?! I like to be politically correct. In any case, it has been in the 80′s for the past couple days, feeling much more like July than September. Part of me is unimpressed because of my love of fall and blazers, but the other part of me is saying “you’re an idiot, you will long for this day come February.” So, I’m going with it.
On Sunday we took Franklin to Fort Williams Park (where Portland Head Light is) for a little stroll. Though it was hot, and jeans were an inappropriate choice for someone who overheats in denim, it was a lovely day. Franklin got a little too hot, as you can see by his poor little face:
Floral t-shirt: Forever 21
Army green under tank: Uniqlo
Green moccasins: Esprit (via Marshall’s a million years ago)
Bag: Michael Kors
Watch: Michael Kors
Sunnies: 80′s Purple
In the picture above you can see some writing on the rock. It says “Annie C. Maguire shipwrecked here Christmas Eve 1886.” Apparently, the Annie C. Maguire was a ship heading to Portland Harbor from Argentina when it crashed at the light house. The story is kind of interesting, click here to read it.
