I scored a couple sweet finds at the last SWAPmaine. I added to my ever expanding cardigan collection, found an amazing vintage coral maxi skirt (I’m sure it will be making a blog appearance soon), and picked up a couple cute tank tops, among other things. However, my biggest triumph was this vintage sheath dress.
I think my eyes bugged out of my head when I saw it. It is PERFECT. I love yellow and blue together (see my wedding for proof) and this silhouette is one of my favorites – flattering, comfortable, work appropriate, and shows off the gun show. Heh heh. I love that it has vintage appeal, but looks like it could have been designed this year.
Trench: Bloomingdale’s (via consignment)
This is definitely my new “happy dress” – which in Laura speak translates to “a dress that makes me feel my best.” Here is one of my other happy dresses, which not coincidentally is a vintage printed sheath.
Ring: In Pink (via a gift card I won somewhere)
